Passport & Visas
  • Verify carefully the passport and visa requirements for the country you are visiting well in advance of your travel

Security

  • • If you lose your passport or visa contact immediately the consulate office.
  • • Never leave your cases unattended at airports.
Health
  • • Check the vaccinations and health requirements for all of the country as some vaccinations need to be taken 4-6 weeks before travel.
  • • If you are taking any medicines ensure that you have extra dosage for the travel.
Tickets
  • • Check the ticket for Flight(s) details when you get it.
  • • Keep your tickets, passport and visas at a safe place and never forget them at travel day.
Packing
  • • Pack your luggage the night before in case of being late for your flight.
  • • Place an identification strip around your cases.
  • • If you are taking some gifts, it is advisable not to pack them in gift wrappers as they will be unpacked at the time of screening.
  • • The fewer luggages, the fewer worries.
  • Verify with the airline’s allowed baggage allowances ensure that your luggage does not exceed that level.
Baggage
  • Check with the airline you are traveling with on the stipulated baggage allowances.
  • Ensure that your hand baggage allowance does not exceed the level enforced by the airline you are traveling with. This ensures unnecessary embarrassment at the check-in desk, having to move luggage from your hand baggage to your suitcase.
Getting To & From The Airport
  • • Set out for airport with enough time in hand.
  • • For public transport, do check timetables.
Currency
  • • Ensure that you have enough currency of the country for your immediate arrival and expenses at the airport.

  • • If you have any meals or seating requests let it noticed by the airlines.
Others
  • • Try to avoid travel in peak season.
  • • Have easily digestible meal before flights.
  • • Sleep well before the flight.
  • • Wear flexible and simple clothes for travel.
  • • Have some magazines study and gentle movements in the aircraft to avoid tiredness.
  • • Leave your reliable contact details with someone at home for emergency.
Jetlag
  • Try to drink plenty of water whilst on the aircraft as this helps to counter dehydration.
  • Check in flight magazines, for gentle exercises to do whilst on board to stop stiffness and tiredness of joints.
  • Cleanse and moisturize skin regularly whilst on board again to counter dehydration.
  • Eat a light meal onboard as easier to digest, avoid excessive carbohydrates and fats.
